Job Description

We are looking for a Restaurant Partnership Development Specialist for Partnership to find business opportunities and manage restaurant and brand partner relationships. You will be responsible for the preservation and expansion of our in-house and local partners. We are looking to grow this position into a future Manager role.

You will play an essential role in ensuring we provide the highest quality and variety of cuisines from the most successful food entrepreneurs and local restaurants for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of the sourcing process to enrolling new culinary partners. From the initial selection & prospecting to the build-out of menus, you will ensure that we have the supply ready to meet the demand. You are the person who is always up to date on the latest food trends and loves the idea of immersing yourself in the details of food descriptions & menu item pairings.

Job Summary

As part of the restaurant partnership development process, create and deliver partnership presentations that demonstrate the service of WeBox's e-commerce platform, WeBox's kitchen, professional logistics, and great customer service. Promote the revenue forecast to ensure the optimal solution for the partners. Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging services to best position the WeBox kitchen platform in the marketplace.

Core Responsibilities

  • Recruit, and onboard local restaurants with expansive menu catalogues based on strategic company priorities & goals
  • Recruit, and onboard top food entrepreneurs and chefs for the WeBox kitchen platform
  • Help partners be successful based on our Saltalk e-commerce food delivery platform
  • Negotiate competitive margins, pricing, and portions for both new and existing cuisines
  • Coach prospective culinary partners throughout the onboarding process
  • Introduce and monitor performance standards for our newest culinary partners, ensuring the long-term success of their partnership
  • Make decisions on future culinary partners & their cuisines based on cuisine gap assessments, current and future customers' needs, and cross-functional partnerships

    Requirements

    • 1+ years of sales, partnership, or business development experience
    • 1+ years experience in the food and beverage industry partnership development with deep knowledge of food and food production
    • Ability to critically identify key market trends and demand, and work collaboratively across geographies and departments
    • Strong interpersonal skills needed for effective relationship management, establishing rapport, negotiating deals, and creating business partnerships

      • Excellent communication and sales skills
      • Strong critical thinking ability
      • Intermediate to Expert level on Google Suite or Microsoft Office
